Covid 19 Grants
Over the past number of weeks the Government have held various press announcements in regard to new business support packages which are available to access. Some of these supports are not yet available and as such are just announcements so I would advise you to keep a look out for the appropriate supports and their qualifying criteria for each business type.
Most recently the Government announced the following supports which may be of interest.
This Restart Grant is operated by your local authority for business that pay rates (e.g Kerry County Council)
Restart Grant” upgraded to include non rated business such as B&B’s and this is operated by Failte Ireland
Enterprise Support Grant
Enterprise Support Grant” – is now available for self employed recipients who close their Covid-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment on or after the 18th May 2020. It is a one off grant of €1,000 to help re-start their business.
